It’s an unsettling feeling, being on break. Truthfully, it still hasn’t sunk in that I have approximately 3 weeks to do absolutely anything with. (I think it’s partly because I may have flunked my Nat Sci finals with flying colors, and I’m not even exaggerating.) On the upside though, I can focus on stuff I temporarily pushed aside: extra-co projects! Problem now is with so many waiting in line I don’t even know where to begin.

My friends and I are planning photo shoots and movie marathons, too! Plus it’s our high school’s Intramurals this week which means—AAHHH—photo walk at Scho + reunion with old friends! :) I have a ton of stuff to do but the huge difference is in the amount of pressure on my back. I’m not taking the next few weeks for granted.

Can I also now say that I (barely) survived a UP semester? /tears/ Even though I already have a ton of things to do this break, I need to rest up for a tough 2nd sem. BAWI TIME!

And so, an update!

• Woke up at 8am… for an 8am-turned-10am meeting at our house, yay. =)) hi Nicole and Lyka ;)
• Practiced for our math jingle performance this Friday.
• Can’t reveal anything, even here =))
• So yeah, lots of things got ticked off our checklist today hihi
• Went shopping for… things at 168 + mall.
• Ice cream!!!
• And then to Francis D’s for take-out.
• Met up with Angel, Pau, and Mer too. (they met up with us actually)
• Photowalk here in our subdiv! :) (finally a photo of the sunset. yesterday’s lighting was prettier though :( )
• And now I’m on to other things: props thingy, Eng1 report, worksheets, etc.

Nothing different, but it’s been a while since I’ve been productive and happy at the same time. I’m usually productive (ha!) but since my brain is programmed into having to do so much in a day, I’m seldom satisfied. /OC side of me right there/

The 1st of September in bullets:

• I actually woke up on time for a meeting, yay! (spent the day with Nicole and Lyka ;) )
• Aurely’s Taisan cake for breakfast—TAISAN IS THE BEST, GUYS
• And then lunch at Francis D’s (harap ng school, I might blog about it one day :) ). Best burger I’ve had in a while, and their homemade ice cream, gah! Take me back!
• 5 hours at Francis D’s just playing the guitar and composing (we have this group performance in Math this month, hehe)
• We finished our math song! :)
• Safely commuted home with guitar still intact
• Ombre-dyed a shirt I’ve been saving in my closet for months /happy
• I updated my blog today! Yes! :((
• Commented on Eng1 blog posts early. Off the checklist baby
• Pre-ordering Night Visions, AHHHHH! Thank you Bugs (Mr. UP na yan uy, HAHA)!! /happy dance
• Brought out the child in me! Sister and I re-watched The Little Mermaid teehee
• Did you guys know that Juniel and I have the same Twitter name idea? Just to set records straight, I thought of it first T___T

I wanted today to be more productive. Unfortunately though I’m still sick. /sigh I hate being sick the most, especially if I can’t sing properly. :( but anyway, pretty productive start for a sick person, yes? I hope this month is a good one :)

P.S.: I could stare at the September GIF all day. Getting the hang of GIMP ;w;

I finally have a banner. It’s simple but yeah, I have a banner!

Technically though I have always had a banner but I wanted to make one for myself so this, officially, is my very first banner. Confusing, I know. I changed themes twice in less than 10 hours because YOLO. Ha! Kidding. I liked the orange one but I couldn’t upload my own banner. I went with Stijn instead. Clean and simple. :) Check it out and tell me what you think!
